| JVCC GLW Shine in the Dark Tape is a premium flexible polyester laminated photoluminescent film tape together with a permanent adhesive on one side. The photoluminescent pigments absorb and store energy from normal, ambient light. In sudden darkness the tape is immediately visible. The tape offers a non-electric security marking system this effortlessly and inexpensively affixes to walls, handrails, columns, all-around door frames, and along stairways and baseboards (offers visibility during an emergency). It is wound on a liner for simple handling. In addition used for identification of critical equipment controls, exit and directional signage (particularly for escape routes and stairways), light switch covers, labels, decals, novelties, sporting goods, trims and exclusive results. Used in hotels, hospitals, schools, public facilities, office buildings and manufacturing plants. JVCC Shine in the Dark Tape is fully charged inside 30 minutes afterwards exposure to either artificial or natural light and glows brightest the first 15 to 30 minutes afterwards activation has ceased, but will remain clearly visible in a totally dark room to the night-adjusted eye for up to 6 hours (to the night-adjusted eye it is visible, but it would not evaluate it brightness to say a standard flashlight). It in addition recharges. The tape has outstanding UV stability and does not show significant degradation when used outdoors. The luminescent system used is non-radioactive and non-toxic. The tape is offset, screen, flexo, and thermo transport printable. Adhesive has a 24 hour dwell time. Widths shown in dropdown are in inches. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for every 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 24mm x 30 ft. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so much sizes ship on a plain white core. |

| I used this tape for a Halloween costume which didn't work well. BUT I was able to reuse it after I noticed the tape side was still tacky. Here it is May and the tape is still stuck! |

| This thin tape is very fluorescent, but it's not very sticky or flexible. After an hour or so of exposure to dim indoor lighting it still glows in the morning. But it won't stick for more than a few hours to something like at pocket knife's nylon sheath, nor is it flexible enough to wrap around it properly. Worth having, but you should be aware of it's limitations. |

This product works great. It glows for several hours with just a few minutes of light exposure. I used the tape on my stairs and it serves as a night light too. The adhesive works fine if you clean and dry the surface before applying. I've had the tape on my stairs now for several weeks and even with foot traffic it has not come off.
Update: Have had it for 6 months now and have wet mopped the stairs and it still sticks. My toddler walks up and down the stairs too and it has not peeled at all. |

| This tape is nothing but a worthless piece of junk! Why do dealers choose to sell their useless trash on Amazon. Spent a lot of money for something that does not work according to its given product description. First of all, the adhesive is not strong at all and tends to curl over time. Then the glow-in-the-dark feature gives a weak unsatisfactory glow even after hours of direct exposure to light and tends to fade dramatically in less than 5 minutes after activation has ceased. Don't be foolish and buy this product! |
