Customer rating is 5 of 5  Apple OSX Snow Leopard   2010-08-31
By Daniel G. (North Dakota)
Upon installing the latest version of the Mac OS, my older Macbook Pro has been running cooler with less issues. The added features of Snow Leopard while plentiful are still widely unused at the moment. This is the perfect upgrade with all the right features and also at a wonderfully low price.
Customer rating is 3 of 5  not a whole lot of changes but i wanted it that way.   2010-08-30

it definitely does run a little smoother than the previous leopard os but there aren't really a whole lot of changes. i'm sure there are some that i don't see or don't notice but then again i'm not a computer nerd. the only downside was that my printer no longer worked with snow leopard even when i got updates for it. fortunately my mother in law gave us a new one that she received as a gift. lucky me.
Customer rating is 5 of 5  good.   2010-08-28

good, no complaints. I like the 6GBs it gave back to me. cant notice any speed difference really tho. like the new dack bar menus and things.
Customer rating is 4 of 5  So So...   2010-08-22
By Yudhi Wiyono (Saint Paul, Minnesota)
After a long time, i finally decided to install this Snow Leopard OS, hoping that it will boost the speed of my old Leopard OS... It turned out that it did increase the speed, but i think just by a little bit. I particularly like the trackpad handwriting feature, it allows user to write chinese characters using the trackpad, awesome!

However, there are certain stuff that make Snow Leopard OS more complicated... While i was trying to install Symantec Antivirus, it won't allow me unless i have Rosetta installed in my mac... So basically i have to go back and reinstall the Snow Leopard OS, select the "Rosetta" option during installation and then you can do the Antivirus... Leopard OS does not have to do all this... Another thing, i experienced very severe lagging using the new Safari browser that comes with the Snow Leopard OS, i don't know whether its just me, or everybody else, but i couldn't tolerate it anymore and now i'm using Google Chrome as my default browser...

In terms of speed, Snow Leopard does indeed boost up its quality, but in regard to user-friendliness, it needs some improvements. But overall, i'm pretty satisfied with my Snow Leopard.
Customer rating is 5 of 5  Snow Leopard is awesome!   2010-08-20

I cannot say enough good things about Snow Leopard. I am thrilled to have my new Macbook with this already installed, and I am impressed at the speed at which I connect and surf online now! Even though I paid for the faster connection, the speed just hasn't been there. My connection is so fast it feels like I am paying for a faster connection, when all I had to do was upgrade my operating system! Go Mac!!!
