Customer Reviews
Customer rating is 5 of 5  Best map yet   2010-03-14

I have used all maps. Most are no longer supported. I did not like this one at first. It took time to learn. Now it is my favorite.

I have used Streets & Trips for several years and like the ease of use. This is an update for me and continues to fill my expectations for ease of use and wide spread maps for cross country travel.
Customer rating is 4 of 5  Mostly good.   2010-03-12

Have used Map Point for years. For some reason, MS chose to make pushpins different in S&T and no conversion or import feature from the older .ptm format. Did find a program on the web that mostly worked, had to edit each pin after conversion. 120 of 'em. Not the most convenient thing. But the map is mostly up to date, the routing works OK. Restaurant and hotel data is nearly current. Not the best, but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Reasonable price.

It is a good source , but I found that it isn't upto date with many of the road names on Fort Drum,NY. Which was the main reason I bought it.
Customer rating is 3 of 5  Just OK   2010-03-11
By Michael D. Burns (Topeka, KS)
I selected this product for my salesman for him to use for his sales calls. After using web-based mapping programs, this thing seemed to have a lot of features. For me, though, it just isn't very intuitive. The maps that it generates are crisp and clear, but you'd better cross-check them with something else; The first trip we took, we printed the route from Streets and Trips and also plugged the address into the Garmin. It was about a 100 mile jaunt with several route changes. Once we came within about 20 miles of our destination, the Garmin was telling us to stay on the interstate while S&T advised us to exit. We decided to follow the S&T directions... bad idea. We ended up being routed to a muddy dirt road.

I don't think it's worth time and money if you have web access or a GPS. If you don't, it's your call.
